Scott,

It's hard to pin todays action on the news re-release. It appears that there must be some short covering going on. What may be also at work is a lack of shorting against new buyers. If Fiero was indeed shorting FIBR without any stock to short they could effectively stifle any momentum created by news releases. So maybe we are seeing for the first time a normal unimpeded price reaction to news, even if it is old news re-released.

I'd be interested in Barb Payne's or Craig Crawford's opinion of this new information regarding Fiero. I admit to raising the issue of manipulation, and conspiracy theories, but have never pinned all of FIBR's woe's solely on that. Both Barb and Craig have shot down any manipulation or conspiracy theries all together. This NASDR is now saying that manipulation is evidenced, although not yet are they saying that clearly with FIBR. Surely they must be investigating this. The news about Dorfman and CNBC seems strikingly similar to Barron's.

MarketMover, what about you? Are you nervous having a large short position in FIBR through your hedge fund? Didn't you say you have open communications with Bill ALpert of Barrons? If your not nervous, maybe you should be. The FEDS are around and maybe closing in on looking into FIBR trading history, if they aren't already elbow deep in it.

If I was short FIBR I'd cover just to avoid getting lumped in with any investigation of illegal activity.
