The CPU daughtercard speed(Deschutes) is not jumper selectable.

Can't I upgrade by replacing the motherboard?

Will the new motherboard fit in the old chassis? Will the components be oriented similarly for proper air flow? Will the power supply requirements or connector be the same? Will the ATA66 connector on the new MB be the same as the ATA33 (no). Nope, no, no and probably not. Did you know that next year all ISA slots may be done away with?

On the bright side, you can reuse all your PCI cards, monitor, mouse,
keyboard and maybe some of your drives.
