I hesitate to even answer someone who deserves my moniker more than I do. I hope that your accounting knowledge is better based than your stock picking prowess. If I remember my accounting 102, goodwill arises from a premium in price paid over tangible net worth. I have been unable to locate any financials for Gamefx since they are a privately held company. It appears that you may have an idea of the financials of gamefx in that you are stating that the goodwill will have a material impact on financials down the road. Please post the financials of Gamefx or a link to the financials so we too can be enlightened as to the extent of the future drag on earnings. Or are you pulling assumptions out of your extremities.
