DELL notebooks required at graduate school

from Austin American-Statesman Weekly Business Review, page 3, Saturday, April 18, 1998

Dell notebooks required at UT graduate business school

Choosing a notebook computer will be easy for next year's University of Texas graduate business school students. They will be required to buy or lease a Dell notebook computer that runs at a minimum speed of 233 megahertz. The system will come with Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer 4.0 and Microsoft's Web publishing software, FrontPage 98.

Dell was chosen as the sole provider of the computers because the Round Rock company offered the best price and value and is serious about creating a partnership with the school, said Larry Leibrock, chief technology officer for the graduate school of business.
