From the April 17 edition of the Pennaluna Prospector, as reported in the Stockhouse Online Journal (http://www.stockhouse.com/):

Yamana Resources (TSE:YRI) of Spokane says it's resumed drilling exploration at its Lejano high-grade silver property at Santa Cruz Vanguardia, Argentina. It hopes to finish most drilling by mid-May, when winter usually sets in there. The firm also added nearly 600 square kilometers to its land position in the area, and retained consultant Dr. Peter L. Siems -- Professor Emeritus at the University of Idaho School of Mines -- to conduct onsite property studies. The stock was trading this morning around CDN$1.63.

Greg!

Regarding your news release of April 22/98 (Proposed Equity Offering), I am somewhat disappointed in not including my home province of Saskatchewan. I would be most interested to know why we were left out? I live just 10 miles in from the Sask/Alta border. Maybe this could be another good reason to move the border eastward.

Regards

CJG

Greg I find news of equity offering disturbing.More dilution for shareholders. Can you provide us with more details? This creates a lot of uncertainty.I did not count on this.Of course perhaps if the equity offering is similar to what Western Copper offered Teck to cut them into Mexico well above current market prices this is good news. Hope it turns out to be good news.
