Well I guess we will see what happens...

A couple of things I have heard:

1. Next drill results due out in 2 weeks.
2. IRE due out in 4 weeks.
3. Planned pit mining in area of M5 possibly 8 to 12 months.
4. Drop in share price a result of Porgera's increased reserves...
5. Reluctancy of traders to this elephant due to the possibility of landowners getting greedy again around production time.

If the open-pit mine does start-up, this will be a good indication and test of the strength of the PNG agreement. The government has stated empatically that they fully support and will uphold the agreements. I guess we will just have to wait... as per usual.
