A Mac/Wintel Warz conference I frequent had some interesting remarks that were used to counter Apple's recent postive quarter. The poster theorized that eventually Apple is going to have to writedown the pre G3 inventory and that it would be substantial. Does anyone have a sense of the size of this stock? As whole new line of G3 in both laptop and desktop configs are here or very nearly here - so when should we expect to see this inventory making a negative impact (or will it)? How large is the remaining inventory? When (which quarter)might they choose to write it off? Just lookin for ammo... SM 0 A9 F4 G AA PL
