There was combo floppy drive. And you can still buy them in surplus. One drive that fits in a 5.25 inch bay. The 3.5 floppy was on the top and 5.25 floppy on the bottom.

Does anyone here still remember those awfull 5.25 floppies? Talk about a high failure rate.
