BigKNY3: This is the best news for all. Muse survives. You are right, ED is an expanding market, every player wins.
I asked this Yahooer to back up his data, have not got the resource.

For week ending 4-17-98

Viagra 36,263 total (this is a record for first full week sales)

MUSE 11,393 total-although this is down from last week it is very encouraging in light of the PR/hype on Viagra.
MUSE still had almost 7000 new scripts in light of facing off against the most glorified hyped drug in the history of the world!

I am told that many doctors are just writing scripts or phoning in scripts just to get patients off their backs. Not good medicine but I know that many men have the misconception that this drug is some sort of aphrodesiac(sp?) and are trying it out of curiosity more than anything else. Expect these numbers to be high for another week or two followed by a sharp decline once word gets out about what Viagra really is intended for.

Little Vivus is still holding strong. I am surprised at the new script numbers for MUSE. Thought it would be less than 2,000.

BigKNY3: I give up!

I wish all VVUSers much success in the future. It's been both fun and frustrating.
