Just called the companies recorded message from the President.

He claims they signed up Advanced Materials as a client, and says they are the world's biggest semiconductor wafer fab... Anyway, I have read on this thread that they signed up AMAT (Applied Materials) Has anyone sought to clear this up?

There is a company called Advanced Materials that trades on Nasdaq, but it is a tiny company with just a few million in revenues.

Does anyone know for sure whether it is Applied Materials or Advanced Materials that is a client?

Thanks

RCJIII

ETRADE....

(what ever you do, check the commission charges before you sign-up... example on 5k of BB stock, DLJ charges $100.00, ETRADE charges $19.95.)

ETrade
Getting very quick on-screen confirmations of NASDAQ transactions.
With some brokerages you will wait and wonder for a while if you got the trade, and with a market order you will wonder for a while how much you actually paid. Have done around 175 in and out transactions with them so far, and only 1 small mistake. Since I do some penny stock trades, I like their rates for larger numbers of shares.

grr: I moved on-line about 10 months ago and went through a rather involved search for an on-line broker, finally settling on Farsight (farsight.com) that offered a trial of $9.95 per trade. That program has ended, and they're now at $19.95 up to 5,000 shares. They're part of D.E. Shaw....and do their trading through National Financial Services Corp, a large market maker in GOK how many issues. What I can tell you is that I get trades very fast, and that I usually get my price...ie, my bid, even when it's under the ask. Something else, as well. If my modem doesn't work, or for some reason their server goes down, or for what ever reason, I don't get charged extra for talking to a broker to get a trade. That's good to know, because it can and does happen. No extra for limit orders either. I also get free real-time quotes....they "credit" me with 200 for each transaction.

ETrade here 19.95 unlimited BB
For decimals have to talk to someone, also 19.95 since unable to do on-line.
Fast executions and fills.
Not much graphics crap on site so reasonably fast.

I also use Datek(9.99 for NASDAQ).
Just as Good and cheaper, but no OTC:BB with Datek.
