I see you conveniently left out my following sentence from the original post:

>>That is not to say they posessed Christian values.<<

Also, all Germans were not Nazis. But all Nazi's were German, or in an occupied territory, or had the same belief system--like the neo-Nazi's today.

The Furher was a Catholic and Mein Kampf is based on doctrine similar to Emiles. Therefore the Nazi philosophy was founded on what was claimed to be Christian theology. Not all Germans were Nazis but the masses remained silent will they slaughtered the Christians and Jews in the name of Christ. The idea was that in the Bible we are to obey the authorities that Govern us so lets turn in the Jewish family down the street and obey mans laws over Gods laws. If the masses were not supportive of Hitler as they gained wealth he would not have had so much power. Now there were the righteous Gentiles that stood up at great cost to themselves and their families to oppose this evil empire and they had Christian values. The need to play down what happened is a product of pride and blindness. I like what Ellie Weisal said "Not all victims of the Holocaust were Jews but all Jews were victims."
Is it the fault of the Jews that they are upset enough about this horrific tragedy that they try to continue to remind people that it could happen again if we don't learn to be more tolerant of others. There are many non Jewish men in the entertainment industry that could help carry this message and probably some do.
