"VERMIN", your still calling me names and also reviling me hal!!Talmudism in practice???

There is nothing you can say or do that will make me hate you back.

If you hate me, I will love.

If you revile me, I will bless.

If you lie, I will tell the truth.

Neither death nor harsh treatment will ever make me curse you. You may as well get use to that.

You belong to Talmudic Judaism, I belong to Christ.

May the Lord open your blind eyes.

Christianity is Life and light, because they belief in Jesus.

Modern Judaism is darkness and death, because they reject and revile Jesus.

Very simple!!!!!!!

As a bible thumping fundamentalist I believe that we are all sinners...The Bible, which I know you don't take as literally as I do, says that ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. To be perfectly honest with you, I don't know what that means for the baby in Africa that you use for an example. I personally believe that there is an age of accountability at which time an individual is responsible.

I do know that God is just and He will not unjustly judge anyone. That does not mean that He will excuse sinners who have not accepted Christ as Savior, but I'm sure it does mean that the punishment will fit the crime(s).

I also know that it is up to Christians to proclaim the gospel of Christ. I am not to judge whether someones heart is right with God or not....that is His pervue not mine.

Hal,

It seems by all that Jesus said about children, that somewhere along the line is an age of accountability.Prior to this age (or level of maturity) I believe they have no guile. I do not claim to know that age, but may have as much to do with maturity as age.

Also seems that Jesus upset his "earthly" parents because he was "about" His Fathers business at age 12. <Luke 2> Does it also say something in the old testament about Jewish boys at the age of 12?? I am not sure of that.

Dear Hal:

On this issue of "sinful" babies. All people are born of the seed of Adam and thus are born of sinful flesh. Once one accepts Jesus as Lord, they are born again, not of flesh, but of spirit. That is why Jesus is called the new Adam. Those who accept Jesus are removed from the fleshly, sinful line of Adam and are reborn into the spiritual line of the new Adam, Jesus. If one is not born again, then one is not in the spirit of Jesus. This applies to all people.

Having said that, that does not mean that babies will die and go to hell. If this were the case, then all, I mean all babies that died would go to hell since no baby is able to accept Christ, not even the baby of a Christian Pastor. John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his only son so that whoever believes in him should not die, but have eternal life." Obviously, a baby is not able to believe in Jesus. Most Christians that I know believe that all children will be admitted into everlasting life. Jesus loves children dearly. During his earthly ministry, he said:

Luke 18:15-16
15 People were also bringing babies to Jesus to have him touch them. When the disciples saw this, they rebuked them.
16 But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."
(NIV)

In Christ, Tom
