RE: ICGN and the Motley Fool:

This was sent to Motley after their "report":

Here's my post to The Motley Fool:

Based on your report that ICGN "could have" issued tons of stock and that the
executives of Rare Medium might jump ship, it appears that you failed to read the news
release:

biz.yahoo.com

Note that the ceo of Rare Medium is now the ceo of ICGN. Also, ICGN paid $45
million for Rare of which I believe $10 mill was cash.

Does this look like the talent is going to bolt:

Rare Medium Goes West

New York March 6, 1998
Rare Medium opens new offices - New York
interactive agency Rare Medium is expanding its
service to become a one-stop shop, and in the process is opening offices in
three new cities and hiring about 50 new employees. The Los Angeles office
opened on Feb. 25; the new and larger New York office opens March 9; the
San Francisco office opens June 15; and the Detroit office opens July 31.
Total number of professionals will go from 70 to more than 120 by the end of
the second quarter, said Rare Medium President Glenn Meyers. The
agency is expanding its services from high-quality multimedia to include a
beefed-up technology and client services and consumer specialties.

Basically, if you would go to the Rare Mediums web page you could listen to an audio
of the ceo explaining what they might do instead of an IPO. How about a merger.

It seems that this is a public shell, with a small business, that will allow Rare Medium to
"go public" without IPOing. They already said they will make an announcement
regarding name change and symbol change.

Thanks for the note. OK, it's an interactive services firm that came public via a reverse
merger.

So your company got caught up in the froth, sorry I didn't look deeper into
what was going on there or that I even talked about it in detail. You're
right, I didn't dig deep on this one, it just looked very much like a piece of
crap internet company that was just flying with the rest of the turkeys.
Believe me, that level of research is far and away the exception with me -- I
do a ton of research and dig pretty darn deep. That's why I am still at work
at midnight.

I think he feels guilty for blowing this one!! Hey, we don't want an
"I'm sorry", we want a retraction.....what's the chance of that? >ggg<
