why are the warrants trading so high?

sometimes

1) warrants are used by the MM's to cover themselves ( I heard this from an experienced person and do not really know how the heck they do that)

2) warrants sometimes have a very small float which will force the price up with lotsa volume.

3) a precursor to the common value
