I hope you will post your trading here when you are ready to get down and get frisky....

TT and Kevin will tell you that the more liquidity the better...that is why they advocate OEX instead of SPX...let alone RUT...

OEX is priced off of SPX... so that is okay
(yes I read that somewhere and that is why trading OEX off the SPX systems has worked)

but transfering your system to SPX or even OEX might put a kink in the works...

why not try the RUT the first time around with 5 contracts and not the normal 10 (which I think they have to take)

Don trades illiquid contracts and he hasnt had a problem being filled.

>>> I hope you are doing ok! I saw the warm welcome of your cyber friends after your absence here on that thread. Please let me add my best wishes. <<<

Hi Thomas, I'm doing OK....thanks for asking. It's nice to hear from you. You're right...the people on this thread did give me a warm welcome back. It felt nice and I'm glad to be back.

>>> My current activity is concentrating on index trading systems. I have quite good results, but still have to backtest more. I like the Russell2000 index. It's not jumping around like other indexes. <<<

Wow! I'm interested in reading about what you developed.

>>> My first post since a longer period of absence was a question on the Idea thread.

I'll refer to this link later this morning once I have more time.
Ike was very kind saying he will try to answer the questions.

There's a name that I haven't heard ONCE since I've come back.
Didn't even realize he's still around...
Hopefully you will get the answers that you need to finish your system.
I'll try to help if I can.

Kevin
