Lou, As you know, going from a margin account to a cash account would be a tough step for a "marginman" to take, but on the other hand I don't like the idea of my shares potentially being used against me. So just to clear the air here, whether or not your margin account is actually margined makes no difference in the borrowability of the shares contained in that account? Also a question was asked earlier about what constitutes a "Tier one" company, do you know the answer to that one?

James

Good Morning All,
Let me give you all a little level of comfort. DCTC is a designated security thusly cannot be LOANED out to an entity. But there is a way we can all make life a little easier if you wish to make the ONE phone call that will handle this matter of stock being loaned out. Call your broker and tell him/her to NO LOAN all your stocks especially DCTC. The other tactic is one I do not like and is to late in the game but CALL THE CERT's OUT. I prefer the first one. If your broker gives you a hard time about it fax him and a cc: Ops Manager and NO LOAN the DCTC stock if it is currently in your margin side of your account and I recommend this after the call anyway.
Just another little tid bit we could all do and make you feel comfortable.
As for putting out GTC orders, LOL, Nice try but never work the exchange will always kick it back for being out of trading range. I like the idea but not going to happen.
