You are quite right more than half the small gold and mining companies that i have bought have been clunkers even though at the time they seemed kosher and had lots of good pr and i tried to do due diligence.fortunately i had cks which went from 28 cents to 10$ and then down to 80 cents despite having what is apparently a good gold prospect which would appear to be turning into a mine.
I have no additional information about safari other than a lot of suspicions already ellucidated ,as time stretches out and little additional info is released my index of suspicion rises .based on my experiences of the last few years i would think that it is safer to speculate in the small stocks that actually have some money in the bank ,decent management and good to decent prospects.metallica comes to mind as an obvious candidate ,when the gold market turns thus leading to a resusitation of the vse and small mining market i believe there will be big bucks to be made in such stocks .stocks such as metallica and pangea have been severely beaten up and thrown out with the bathwater as a result of the pog and bre x .sooner or later they will come back .the ultra speculative stocks with basically no money and selling a dream such as safari it is very difficult to find a long term winner.i have also learnt when they fall you cant get out so you have to sell on the way up and not the way down .anyway enough speculation about safari who knows whether they have something , clearly the way to make money on it is to buy below 50 cents and sell above a dollar ,following that simple dictum would have resulted in a 6 bagger which is not too shabby.arh

You must keep this "investment" in its' proper perspective.
It is by definition very RISKY! For anyone to put any other spin on this is self-destructive. The recent price slide is IMO not indicative of anything sinister. The number of shares sold do not represent very much. CBM plays can take several years before a development takes off. SIR has a good chance to succeed but there is NO guaranty. We know this and accept this when we buy.
This CBM field is just beginning. Of course we would all like to see immediate results but that just isn't realistic thinking.
This play is is best suited to those who can afford to be patient
Good luck to all! See you in Portugal!!!!!!!
