Julianne - My favorite is Dr. Alexander Elders' "Trading for a Living". You can pick it up for about $42 from amazon.com ($18 below retail). It has a companion study guide (make sure you buy the book first), which helps you test your knowledge of the material in the book when you're ready. Dr. Elder is a trader who happens to have his PhD in psychology. Therefore, he not only teaches the construction/math around all the various indicators and systems, he also teaches the assumptions behind TA and the psychology of the bull/bear battle that TA is trying to expose.
