Linda, With a 1 billion 1/4ly profit donw 13% is more than Apples total profit. Still i\since Apple went from - to + and then + again it has more to cheer about.IBM has 12 times the revenue and only three time the profit per share. and of course IBM has a lot more shares out there too so the bases are different. It also made more in profit than Apple did in total sales. As they say a Gorilla.

CPQ is in trouble and it will get worse as the summer wears on. They have not been able to get a good direct model going, good old Texas loyalty to their dealer base that will kill them in the end. If we are all going to go direct, then CPQ must dump it's dealers ASAP. CPQ boxes are also made funny and privey with few of the easy build features on a DELL.
CPQ, look at DELL, copy DELL.
