One often uses the media to gage market trends. Comments on CNBC
or in other media can and often do sway the market, sometimes
immediatly but more often after several analysts or publications make
related comments.
This week has had an unprecedented number of analyst's comments and even dedicated news stories about irrational price run-ups after firm announces they are selling on the internet. Most of the stories
are related to small firms that sell tire patches or floor polish going on the net and stock prices rising from $2 to $60 in one week
but some comment are on the bigger names such as Amazon and AOL.

The point is the word is getting out and less sophisticated players
may begin to think twice about a net investments. The time may be near. We've had two days of down trend (profit taking?)one of which occurred on a market up.
Looks like no more up every day regardless.
