>>>Argentina pissed about the Fauklands? Why, do you just assume the British are
always wrong? There are virtually no people of Argentine descent, and no native
peoples whatsoever on the Faulkands. And never were. What, because it is closer
to Argentina, never mind still over a hundred miles off, and never mind history, it
should go to them? Despite overwhelming popular Fauklands votes to the contrary?
What pray tell are you talking about? The Argentines were WHOLLY wrong on
that one period. <<<

Sr. Doug...

I live in Argentina and have talked with many good Argentines about the flaklands/malvinas issue and the consensus I get is that most Argentines are embarrassed by what the junta of the 80's tried to do vis a vis the Falklands... They feel that the loss of life of both sides is just totally deplorable... Guess my point is that I and most Argentines agree that Argentina was totally wrong in trying to gain control of the Falkland Islands...

I also agree with you about our liberal immigration policies... As an American living overseas I can tell you that these same countries ... i.e. Mexico, Venz., Colombia, Argentina, etc.. make it very very difficult for a Gringo to get a work visa but then cry foul when we protest about the attempted immigration of hundreds of thousands of of their nationals...

WE MUST ENFORCE OUR LAWS OR OUR COUNTRY IS DOOMED...

Doug,

you guys are unbelievable. I was just randomly picking some examples of ridiculously reasons one can think of to confuse trade issues with. I have no intention of starting another round of farther off topic discussions from already off topic stuff.
