Spots, to further complicate things, when giving examples of html, you can use the named symbols for characters like ampersand-& (&amp;amp;), less than-< (&amp;lt;), greater than-> (&amp;gt;), etc..

You have to do this to get HTML to print your HTML rather than the HTML effect. To see what I did to do this message, use your browser's View-Source feature.

Thanks Spots and Auggie for the info.

Now I feel like a webmaster writing HTML from scratch.

I use Frontpage98 for doing Web Stuff. You don't need to know HTML to use FrontPage.
