Oh, George...

Now, George, let's not celebrate the bear-be-que
quite yet. Or, more aptly, let's at least wait a week until
some of the new interest in this thread gets distracted
by some other oppt'y. (I mean, if I get about 30 more
posts of this kind of smirky, "I've been places and
done things with stocks that would boggle your mind--
you really should try it with lava-lamp oil, needle-nose
pliers, and alka selzer: the sensation is amazing,"
stuff... well, I'm going to seriously look at taking
a room at Rudy's now-quiet other-SEEK thread.)

Let's see, some interloper accused the LONGsuits
of being mere cheerleaders. Oh, yeah, that's me, alright.
Just a major rah-rah-rah kind've of guy. Not a moment's
reflection or considered pause from me. No sir-eee bob.

Oh, no, it wasn't me that posted that somewhat
disturbing--at least on the face of it--article from
www.wired.com. No that was my stunt double.

Well, the one solace I can take from the most
recent turn of this thread is that this too shall pass.
Like a kidney stone, per-haps. But, out it will go.

And as unreflective LONG, I personally can't imagine
any stops between here and say $157. By, say, tomorrow
afternoon... at the latest.

Further, I could never begin to contemplate a little YHOO style
sell-off in advance of earnings, then a run for the
roses the day of earnings, taking us to say $50.
Then, a sell-off, the morning
after. (Earnings will be better than good... but
speculation is ALMOST always sweeter than confirmation.)
No, that doesn't enter into my thinking at all.

But, seriously, what I'm really interested in is
whether SEEK will be quiet on the PR front this week.
My bones tell me there's yet another major deal sitting
in the pipeline... close to fruition... if not already
closed. I mean, another buy-out... eyeball purchase.
One might think they'd drop it the day before
earnings... if earnings are as good (not necessarily
outstanding) as I now feel.

As for earlier speculation as to what effect a
break-even quarter would have on SEEK. Well, somebody
said that might already be factored into the price.
Sorry, and with all due deference, but NOT A CHANCE.
A breakeven quarter WOULD BLOW US THREW THE ROOF.

Best Regards, George, Buena Suerte
