I have used VoIP to Norway, with good results other than occasional delays with internet clogging during busy periods. That was over a year ago, with early generation software (forget what brand) and Windows 95. Used to exchange some guitar music with a guy from Norway. Maybe I was fascinated with just being able to do that for free, but it was great. Of course, I was not expecting "pin-drop" quality such as Sprint, but on the other hand I was not paying even 10 cents a minute.

Thank you Mr./Ms. MFDoh, much obliged.

z.

I believe there is technology out there that although not tried on a constant basis by yours truly, I have heard from reliable sources that are better than what you have described, specifically the DVG from FTEL.

In addition, I understand that the technology is making great strides and advancing exponentially, therefore, mass use of VoIP may be sooner than what many believe.

I suggest you read some of the post that Mr. Frank C Collucio has posted at the VoIP thread.

Thanks again.

Z.
