Elk - Thanks for the reply. It is well said and I must agree.

I am and CONTINUE to be a FTEL supporter and believe that we are on the path to success. I cannot believe that after all this time Frank would do anything to hurt HIS company. The credibility and honesty of most of this board (dirty dozen especially included) has and should keep me and other investors/shareholders IN this venture.

I think we are all a bit miffed at the probable failure of the listing (remember I said probable) which would legitimize FTEL further. I think a good racquetball game a coupla' beers and definitely a double Rusty Nail would help me get REAL REAL. <GGGG>

I definitely think Frank's intention is to become quite rich and I hope he takes the rest of with him. I intend to stay invested until some decisive point in the future and if I could swing it BUY MORE at these bargain basement prices.

We did manage to "provoke" some spirited discussion - the purpose here. ELK PLease keep defending the faithful and accept my thanks for the minor flames. No apology needed - it was just a general statement of upset over some of this threads tone in the recent past as you stated ("bears hold court").

I will still pose the question for comment from the panel here. WHY SO LITTLE STRRET REACTION TO A SIGNIFICANT (IMO) ANNOUNCEMENT TODAY??

Mime is perhaps it will sink in tomorrow. Hey that Rusty nail awaits.

Hey Charles keep the faith and thanks today for your input <GGGGG>

Regards
Dave

Charles, David, and all;

I don't know where this conversation started but it must have originated in the confines of someone's rectum, as it sure has a stench about it.

If anyone, anyone, feels they bought FTEL for the ownership of FNET, then why would they expect to be rewarded when in fact that price has never been reflected in the stock.

In other words, look at it from a different perspective. Assume there is no leverage, nada, zilch. What is Franklin worth as a hardware mfg?
What is Franklin's prospects strictly supplying FNET hardware? If Fnet is successful, is Franklin? I think so.

That Frank has chosen to staff FNET and spin it off is the best news we could have. FRanklin is hardware, Frank is a hardware guy, an engineer by trade, period. Fnet is a service company, period. And never the twain shall meet.

They have different goals, different clients, and a totally different marketing approach. They will be run as separate companies, with separate management, period.

If any of the shareholders of Franklin get a piece of FNET, then that is just frosting on the cake, after all you have never had to pay for it in the valuation of FTEL shares. Have you?

The last time I looked, you still get what you pay for.

Elk, I think they are going to have to some repainting around the Franklin office to keep all the divisions straight:
pictranet.com

It looks like Magruder will have to use the side door too<g>. But I think we could make pretty good use of a guy who helped coordinate the Apollo space communications and worked his way up from there.
