Pfizer surges, other London U.S stocks ease

LONDON, April 21 (Reuters) - Shares in drugs group Pfizer Inc (PFE - news) climbed sharply on Tuesday in an otherwise soggy market for U.S. stocks in London, dealers said.

Pfizer shares jumped $6 to $119-3/8 by 1035 GMT, extending strong gains in New York on Monday, as investors continued to be cheered by the prospects for the group's new impotence drug Viagra.

Dealers said the stock was lifted by the almost euphoric reception by analysts in New York on Monday to first week's sales data from auditing service IMS America.

I'm a toxicologist/pharmacologist and this information is a new one on me. Can you explain how vasodilators, "augment" hairgrowth. If things were as simple as imply we would have the cure for baldness already.
