Hi Steve I told Big Dog that anyone could sell naked calls "if approved by their broker." Thanks for spelling out what it takes to be approved; and I agree, this is risky stuff. So, what happened in the oil patch today? We had a nice rally running, then all hell broke loose. Sounds like some of the major oils are postponing production work, but still going ahead with exploration - why dump more crude on a saturated market? But, at some point, all that production work will need to be done. GLM had a lot of volume today. With 4.5 million shares trading, it wasn't all us little guys doing all the buying. I would guess the "value" funds are buying the stock, but which mutual funds are dumping? IMO, its still hard to judge the level of investment risk in this sector. Good trading Mike
