I called Schwab and discussed my trades. They stated, the time would control and they would make good on the trades. Sure enough, after the close today the trade was reported at the appropriate price. I really think today was an odd ball day for Schwab and not representive of their usual problems.

kenneth:

I think I can do you one better. I left for work and gave my wife a buy instruction for 1000 ford and sell 1000 rambus. She called me saying schwab's computers were screwed up and she had to leave to take our son to school. I get in, notice no current activity in the status and enter a market buy and a limit sell.

Bottom line is they missed my wife's previous limit buy on ford costing us about 600 as my market price ended up being higher by that amount. Worse yet they left me short 1000 rambus. E-Schwab requires the seller to select sell or sell short. They executed two sells and left me short. Fortunately the price dropped almost a buck after the sell so rather than their incompetence costing me thousands as it has in the past, it may make me money unless the rmbs gaps up in the AM in which case it arb time.

I called them and they admitted it was their mistake but my responsibility. They also had the balls to tell me that unless I covered the "short" they would be forced to take action to close the position themselves. #@&& you Schwab, #@&& you very much.

Best Regards,

Greg Gimelli
