Do your own DD.
Or, follow someone else and believe in their picks.
Want to follow the crowd? There's FAMH & TNRG. Stocks like
ETPI has a following, and I know many who are in but do not
post. IMHO, ETPI will be just as good as FAMH or TNRG and I'm
putting my money on it.
The crowd is not always right.
Look at SETO, I've tripled with it and it never has been
'followed' much.
But hey, SETO, FAMH, TNRG & ETPI are all stocks that you
can make money on. If you buy them all, you almost can't miss!

Good questions to ask are: Are they fully reporting? Have they
released reliable news worthy info? Do they have value? Earnings?
Figure out the upside and the downside. Make your decision and
don't blame anyone else. Of course, all the stock I pick are not
fully reporting. And then you have to see what else would be
as good as or worth your investment. Just a start.
Want a safe stock? Good luck!
Even the big boys have their ups and downs.

Happy investing!

Michael,

I definitely understand your point, as I have also been burned by news, or better yet, audited financials that will be announced "any day now".

The best way to confirm info is to call the company at (281) 486-6061. Ask for Bruce Pollock or Pete Cahill. They can give you the rundown. So far, everything they told me has been accurate.

You can check the ETPI board from the beginning to get a track record of announcements. We were told that a major fax release would be distributed to 10,000 to 12,000 people (which did happen, Rapid Release fax service -- it was later than expected because of new software problems, but when it did get released in full the volume jumped dramatically). We were told that Amex would be meeting with the company (they did). We were told that a fluffy news release would be released Monday regarding a discount card to shareholders (it did), and we were told that a release would be out regarding the 60 day performance of recently acquired Hero's (it did).

So far, they have been true to their word.
