Actually, let me revise my comment about the patently obvious benefit of giving the browser away to say that not everybody is bright enough to get it. OK, I'm listening. I should not be surprised in the slightest that the lights are out upstairs somewhere regarding this matter. Now that they can ill afford to give away anything and having forfeited 40% of the market to Microsoft they are in fact giving away the browser and more. So don't argue with me that they are now correct but would have been incorrect in doing so at the start when it suited them most. As far as revenues, please don't make me laugh and I'm glad you don't have one iota to do with product development of anything. That is so asinine it's not even worth responding to but I thought I might remind you of it for future reference. I'm not about to explain the crystal clear logic to those whose arrogant stupidity is blocking out their common sense so I'll leave that up to somebody else Please look back at your first sentence. You did not do what you set out to do. All you did was hurl invective and insult at R.C. rather than logical argumentation. I believe you owe R.C. and apology. So don't argue with me that they are now correct but would have been incorrect in doing so at the start when it suited them most. Why did it suit them most to give it away to begin with, particularly when they had no competition and no other product upon which to make money? Also, if you're so smart, then how come you weren't advocating them giving away a long time ago? I've seen many of your postings over the past year, and have never heard you say anything about it. I seem to remember you spending most of your time saying how hot Borland was and how their stock was going to go through the roof. What a joke.
