Patrick,

Why do you see it being down the first 15 and then up the rest of the day? At least that is what I garnered from an earlier post...if that is incorrect, please forgive.

My theory, and I am sticking to it! :), is that we are up the first 15 and then down the rest. (OK, so it resembles your theory, with my twist) Reason: IBM! The SOX ran today like no tomorrow indicating to the little people (yes, that includes me) that the market is going to run even more now that IBM "beat the street." They will buy the first 15 of the day and the "pros" will short it and run it down the rest of the day.

As always, JMHO, FWIW and BWDIK. I am considering changing the last to BWTFDIK, but I might get kicked off for that!

patrick,

i haven't seen the show. im curious as to why you see a turn at 945 am. i see direction changes happen at 10 am almost like clockwork. futres are pretty even so far. so, no indication there. i feel nas, ndx and sox are coming down today. sox is at a critical point. if up today we are onto 330 area. if down, and it can get help from other indexes to the downside, we will punch thru the support levels forming in 286 level.
