I don't know if this is terribly interesting,
but it is about all I can offer the thread
in the way of a contribution.

The most recent flyer from CompUSA in my area
(Seattle) has a nice spread on the main games
page 10. At the top is a banner to win a PII-400
and immediately below are, from left to right,
the three Broderbunds, then "CompUSA exclusive"
Buy Quake II and Q2 strategy master, save $10,
and next to that, Buy BattleZone and StarCraft
together, save an extra $10 on StarCraft (odd
that they would put Activsion and Blizzard
titles together...must be a CompUSA promotion
and not a publisher promotion)....anyway, and
next to that Hexen II mission pack and Dark Reign
expansion pack (buy pack with original and save
$15).--those are both Activision.

The only other things that pop out a me from
lower on that page are Tomb Raider gold is only
$20 after rebate, same for JSF and F22 Persian
Gulf, none of those are Activision, just good
prices is all.

"Geoffrey, Let me go on record by saying Scott Miller, frankly, is a...for lack of a better word....DORK. Go to the GTIS thread and read back a month back to some of his ARROGANT and immature posts."

Oops. With a bit more research, I probably could have detected Scott's vested interest in publicly posting something like that. I picked up on it on my source for daily Quake news (http://www.bluesnews.com) and just threw it over. Will check stuff out a bit more carefully in the future...
