What about ATHM, AMZN, NSCP, YHOO, SBUX, ELY to name a few of my personally experiences? These "hyped" IPO's have been very rewarding even if positions were taken in the first day of trading.

Cisco bought 500,000 shares at the $24 IPO price. That is a great sign because Cisco knows the industry.
