Jenna, thank you. You mentioned ABWatley in a post some time ago, but I was discouraged by negative posters on the ABWatley thread, complaining of poorcustomer service. So I decided to open a small account with Wall Street Access, and see how they do. Will report here on my experience.

Schwab's problems yesterday were system wide. I've been frustrated before by the glacier-like pace of their servers, especially at market opening, but yesterday was a mainframe problem. Even the phone people couldn't tell what had filled and what hadn't. Angst making, to say the least.
