Doug,
re BORL -- I just noticed that BORL completed a sell sequential on 4/17/98, but is currently on day 6 of another sell setup, which would recycle the sequential if completed over the next three days.
I think the sequential in this case did accurately pinpoint a key dynamic shifting point; instead of running out of buyers, we got a whole new load of them.
As they say, when the sequential doesn't work, it really doesn't work!

I'd also expect the current setup to eventually complete another sequential, since it has already blown through the TDST (TD Setup Trend) established by the most recent buy setup, which was 10.19.
Demark says this is usually a good indication that a sequential will complete, since TDSTs are typically strong areas of support/resistance on a closing basis.

I've been working a little more on the stair step pattern, especially after a 1 year low, or nearing a resistance point. Here's some initial ideas, though some have appeared on the thread before. I realize this is more like weekend work, but my connection went bad over the weekend, but what the heck, Tuesday morning will have to do.

Some stocks showing stair step pattern(or merely rising lows) approaching resistance.

ABAG
AWRD
CAPB
CNDS
ESTI
FINL
HDIE
IMRI

Some stocks showing various early(or not so early) stages of stairstep pattern after 1-year low

DBCC--overhead resistance to deal with
OWAV
PAUH--MIMBO, but has to deal with downtrending resist in the 34 RSI
RG
SIMS
CYBG
INFO(miles, I hope somebody got into this one and made some money)
NEWZ

I'd appreciate any general ideas you have on the type of patterns being generated. I haven't done heavy-duty TA on these.
