My arse off...

We are up to 10000?? By golly we are!!! Well, there you have it. Either we are really bright people , that have all the cures for the worlds ill, or people with too much time on our hands?? Not one to be egotistical, I favor the later...

Speaking of the world, heard a report that China's GDP was a mere 7%???
Seems China is slowing a mite, mate. Then there is the run on the yen..... isn't that what they did to Indonesia, Thailand and the Hong Kong Dollar? Oooppss, that isn't relative to QCOM, sorry.... Hey they did the same to Korea, too. That did have an effect, did it not?

If folks don't like the commentary, skip by when they see my name. Hell, I talk to myself all the time, so why should cyberspace be any different.. As for yours, I always enjoy the verbal and intellectual josting. Makes me think??? What an interesting concept...THINKING!!! Of course we have these new features, like private messages..oohhh!!!!

Tick,tock, tick tock........

MAO. Its a typically subtle AmerEnglish expression. "My Ass Off"

As in rolling on the floor laughing my ass off. So subtle in fact that about the only way of expressing it is ROTFLMAO.

Sadistic? Moi? Naaah. Rather enjoyed the ref. to the old Newman flick the "Sting" actually. Besides, the more one pokes at the lad down under, the better the rants generally get.<g>

Yep, insomnia does occasionally strike. And you? The occasional odd time translation, while admittedly challenging for we unworldly 'Mericans, aren't totally beyond comprehension. <g> It's the date translation I appear to have totally bolloxed.<gg>

BTW, are you now in a position to tell us how the G* launch faired?

Could be market useful. Very. <gg> Perhaps I should move. <g>

Doug

Maurice,

Qualcomm is doing really well in the Mexican auctions. Thanks Michael. Yes, I'm interested and hope others are too.

There are couple of things I am a little confused about regarding Mexican auctions:

1. What is Qualcomm going to do with these frequencies? Are they actually to start providing wireless phone service? Is Qualcomm going to become a phone company in Mexico, or are they just going to provide equipment, while some other company will do the retail stuff.

2. These blocks (or frequencies?) that Qualcomm has the highest bid on, are they inteoperable? Suppose I sign up for the service in area where Qualcomm has the E block. Is my phone going to work without reprogramming when I go to region where Qualcomm has the B block?

Joe
