THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE'S INTEROPERABILITY LAB (UNH-IOL) ANNOUNCES ASYMMETRIC DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER LINE (ADSL) TEST RESULTS
Eleven participating vendors take part in UNH-IOL ADSL test.

DURHAM, NEW HAMPSHIRE, March 30, 1998 - The UNH-IOL today announced that a multi-vendor ADSL testing period was held the week of March 23 at the InterOperability Laboratory on the campus of The University of New Hampshire. The participating companies were 3Com Corp., Alcatel, Diamond Lane Communications, Digital Technology, Inc., Escalate Networks, Analog Devices, GenRad, Inc., Lucent Technologies, StarNet Technologies, Inc., Virata, Ltd. and Westell Technologies. Since interoperability testing is so critical for the advance and customer adoption of ADSL technology, some of these companies will continue joint testing efforts as members of the UNH-IOL ADSL Consortium.
