Linda, From what I heard the old plan had a flat fee, and so that flat fe was a smaller % of a high end system, hence they made high end systems.
What was needed was a flat % system cost, say 5%, so on a $5000 system=$250, and they also must buy the OS.Which will vary in price with CPU type?
Parhaps some of the others will have information we can judge it by.
Remember sales are down and profits are up, So share has suffered.
I do not know the box count on sales.Product line has narrowed, so a leaner Apple is here
