Hi DreamWeaver:

I went very big for LOR for the reason you suggest
(it is easier to upgrade gateways if they are located
on earth). However, I suspect that ultimately
MOT/IRIDF will do also quite well (the Celestri
broadband data system developed by MOT may in fact
be superior to the Skybridge system of ALA, LOR's
partner).

I do not know very well how to take STII. Up to this
point it provided the wireless networking expertise
in the HP/STII combination. However, I do not think
LU would be in as much of a need for wireless networking/ATM
exertise, since they have formidable in-house expertise
in this area. I would watch very carefully what L. Kopp
is doing, since he was holding about 25% of STII's stock.
I like very much his investment style (a mix of value
and growth, with a focus on small cap technology
companies). If he sells, I would advise selling, independently
of what Bob Brinker may be saying. Note however that L.
Kopp is fast on his feet. He often sells and buys back
on retracements (He has a big holding in one company, LARS,
in which I have a small position, and I have been
impressed by his trading acumen).

Best regards,

Bernard Levy
