I bought Citrix on product positioning and my belief in the thin client market. What a great bonus to have excellent, excellent management. The renegotiated license agreement gives them steady revenue and some protection from MSFT's ability to deliver their products on time.

I have a lot more faith in Citrix's execution. :)

BTW, I believe that Citrix sales will be helped by Y2K projects. When people start to realize what a mess they have with PC based applications (yep, PC software will have Y2K problems) the simplicity of the Citrix server-farm architecture is going to be a quick, dirty and 'proven' way to get things under control again.

Roger, read your latest note before the earlier one. I am glad you covered. Note, every gap up Citrix has had, there was an eventual slide down to cover the gap...Most of the time it had nothing to do with Citrix, just Mr. Market. Everytime, it rebounded again from the slide...A GREAT TRADING STOCK!!! I have buy and hold stock of Citrix and I trade it as well.

I'm glad to see that you do not fall in love with your shorts and you cover them even at a loss. In the next three months CTXS will probably see $53 and $70 (15% swings from its current price). Volatility + CTXS's Actual Strength make it a great B&H and Trading Stock.
