Speaking of "tread lightly", anyone else notice the panic in the dow intraday chart today? It sure looks like selling opps are taken frequently on tiny rises. Many of the small/mid caps I follow are back to where they were 3 months ago. Looks like people just can't make themselves buy even a bargain if they fear the correction is near (myself included).

My post was not meant to be aimed right at you, but to tip off
any one who may read it & who may flirt with shorting a stock
naked to the extreme risk in it. Particularly one with a small
float..
As well as to say the rules are so lose that if you look around
you can find a broker who will let you short even if they don't
have shares for you to borrow, ( and even when they know your
walking into a trap ).
Newbies get baited in and gut and gilled like this all the time.
