Bazmataz, A minor point from Zack's: I noticed that stocks rated as "Oilfield Equipment/Machinery Socks" are rated as 11/211 as an industry group; while "Oilfield Service Stocks" are rated 3/211 of timely industry groups.

I noticed this while pondering the merger of WII (service company) with EVI (machinery company). I decided that the post-merger EVI looks like a pretty "stout" company and a world competitor- so I put in an order for a few shares a couple of minutes ago.

Finally note that the EVI-WII Management Team noted that they are looking for "other acquisition opportunities"....

Sincerely,

Doug F.

Same with SLB...volume a little above normal. about 2.7 mil. shares today is my guess tho if it starts to power move on 80 then 3 mil. + is possible. Been bumping along on the deiling all afternoon. Hasn't done that all this year anyway. Usually hits resistance and within 15 minutes it tanks back down.
