After 6 straight months of bad news concerning, "Asia", here's a small bit of positive news for a change: >A service of Semiconductor Business News, CMP Media Inc. Burr-Brown sees strong growth in all segments--even Asia TUCSON, Ariz.--Burr-Brown Corp. here today announced sales of $68.7 million and net income of $10.2 million in the first quarter, ended April 4....Burr-Brown said business conditions remain strong in all market segments, especially communications. Geographically, the company said Southeast Asia and Europe showed the most growth. Bookings in the United States, especially in the distribution channel, remained strong, reported Burr-Brown, and Japan was up sequentially despite a weaker yen.< MikeM(From Florida)
