Semiconductor Industry Association forecast states that DRAM sales have decreased 20.6% for February vs. year ago, combined with lousy margins, this doesn't look good for MU. MU should thank God for the current state of the market, which is all that is holding it up at this point. Forecasts are for sales levels to continue to slip all the way into 1999.

Larry,

Last night, I smelled smoke coming from my computer. Turns out my memory burned up -- SDRAM from TI. The memory chip has burn marks on it.

I put some old EDO no-name memory in to replace it and the computer's running (but not smoking) again.

I'm glad I was sitting right by the computer when it happened, and not while I was asleep or out of the room.
