Thanks for the post Peter...getting kinda lonely on this thread...

Re: trading system...hard to define my system because it is always evolving, but essentially I use indicators to tell me when a good time to buy is...the "look back" periods (see prior post) I have refined by charting hundreds of stocks and seeing how they did in the past...with the thought that they could do the same in the future...

Re: TA and volume...yes you need a stock with volume to do this "right", and many people say the larger the better...with pennies, the best time to buy often is a time of low but increasing volume...personally I prefer stocks with a daily average of about 50,000 shares traded...not really that high...just need volume to sell into

Re: TA and edge in penny trading...to do well I believe you need a system that dictates when you buy a sell...basically for me it means when I buy a stock I will not lose more than 15%...its as much about minimizing risk as it is about picking the right stocks...by that I mean...a good exit strategy can actually turn a poor system into a winning system by minimizing losses...
