I've been looking for plays on adsl since txn got my amati shares.
I'm thinking the market may not realize what the gte deal means to orctf.

Does orctf really have the best product? Perhpas the market
is concerned that orctf priced themselves into oblivion on this
deal...? Or perhaps the market is just so short term minded the
price will remain down until there are bonafide earnings reported
from the deal? advice/insights appreciated...

..BUT WHAT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW..., is if dspg is still
supplying the cores to orctf adsl modems. Note:
dspg.com

I'm thinking they are -- that it'd be unlikely for them to change
in 1 years' time, with no announcement. Yes, I'm long dspg, and
getting longer. I'm also thinking about trading some msft for
orctf.

the orctf newbie, waiting for adsl..

PS. I'll get the first high bandwidth modem I can. I'd prefer adsl, but
if cable modems make it first, I'll probably get one.
Of course I remember that being one of the ironies of cable modem
competition -- that it is motivating the adsl players to get off their
keisters. Net effect of cable modems: good for adsl investors...
..at least until the actual numbers start rolling in.
