more on tulip mania..(right time of year here..) friend just told me that he bought marketguide and then had to go to dentist..if he hadn't gone to dentist he would have missed the parabolic rise and would have sold it for a nice gain instead of a spectacular gain.. he then told me that one stock was rumoured to announce an internet presence and the stock ran up on speculation..the joke was that the company already had an internet site... as more and more companies race to the internet..there is going to be more and more competition there to compete against each other.. more deflation.. but then again if Goldsnow is right, natural resources will be the other side of the coin..it takes a lot of time to open closed mines..
