Tom,

<TT just got word that the Thermo Master Plant has gotten a patent extension for the next 20 years. This is big.>

Actually, I understand the Thermo Master Plant itself has NEVER been patented, only TRADEMARKED. Only the PROCESS was patented.

Today, TTRIF was notified that they now have a WORLD-WIDE "bumper-to-bumper" patent on the thermophilic process AND the Thermo Master Plant! BOTH will be protected, going forward, for 20 years.

I also hear that TTRIF has been given the "verbal go ahead" on $34MM financing for Oshawa and Niagara ($2MM more than previously thought). Something DEFINITE is expected "today or tomorrow". We will see.

The other GREAT news I hinted at yesterday...Rene is supposed to have a high-level meeting in New York this week with municipal officials on the Staten Island TMP deal.

Finally, remember Rene mentioning in last conference call about something on the "international side" that would be the "footprint of how we will do business in Europe"?

According to IR, this international deal is for ten TMPs in Russia and the Ukraine for processing sludge (and animal waste). Something should be announced in the next 30 days.

Regards,

David Pickering
