I would humbly submit that anyone shorting Citrix because of general market mania should think twice. This is a volatile stock, and I do not doubt that it will continue to be volatile. It is also a very, very well positioned company with great management.

If you want to play the ebb and flow of the price, fine. But if you are short because you do not believe in:

1) Total cost of ownership
2) Non-PC devices
3) The advantage of turning even cheap PCs into simpler to manage, networked devices
4) Citrix's ability to hold their own with Microsoft....

I'd double check my thinking. This stock is not KTEL, or even Broadcom.

Roger,

Citrix
Once Again...
Very Strong...
Earnings
Rollout.

It may not be 100 today...and it won't go up 50% in a day anymore, but
it is a Solid Company, with good cash flow, promising technology, No Debt, professional organization. Please, please, visit the company and see for yourself (longs and shorts should). And on any dip down, like the one it had with no news a few weeks ago, COVER! Fortunately, with Citrix's volatility, you may get a chance to cover...TAKE IT!

>>Joe, given the examples of MARG and HCOM today, we are lucky to still have our shirts on. In this crazy market CTXS could have opened at $100+. The shorts day will come, but today was not it.<<

I was "dumb" enough to short CTXS again when it was hanging out in the 60s. It was PURE LUCK that I turned this short play into a small profit. Whew.
