Seth: I think Mondays announcement was nothing to write home about but Tuesdays announcement was chock full of specific information. As far as "spinning off FNET", is there another way to prepare for an IPO? Another topic: I agree with Doug regarding the meaning of the phrase "spinning off". Everyone is looking for the clinical definition of the phrase and how it effects the FTEL/FNET shareholders. I don't think anything has changed. Isn't this what everyone was waiting for? Aren't we getting closer to the goal?? Why is everyone moaning?? My understanding is they hired a management team and will begin to run the two companies as two separete divisions. FTEL = Parent Co./Hardware manufacturer and FNET = ISP/IP Telco. Why should this surprise anyone?? Did anyone really think Frank was going to run both companies! Everyone seems to be looking forward to the FNET IPO and then when FTEL takes this first step, they get upset! Duh!! I think the only change that will occur immediately is the FNET guys can no longer cut through the FTEL lobby when they come and go. It's official now and they must go around the side of the building and use the FNET door. Frank might even make them get their own coffee pot! (I wonder if that's worthy of an announcement.) <GGG> From where I stand - nothing has changed and the plan is being executed. Or am I missing something here...... - Pat
